8/14/2008 - M. Basketball The pairings for the 14th annual Jimmy V Classic were announced this week and Villanova will particpate for the first time when it meets the University of Texas on Dec. 9 as the second half of a doubleheader. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN.
8/19/2008 - M. Golf Already an accomplished coach, teacher and golf professional in the local area, Will Reilly has been hired as Villanova's head golf coach for the varsity men's golf program. Reilly takes over the program from brothers Jake and Joe Moran, who had been the team's head coaches since 1993.
